Sale of my 99% original NSU 201 OSL with rare foot shift and high exhaust as well as stronger front fork. This bike is really rare and it will be hard to find one complete as this.
This bike came from Zweiradmuseum Neckarsulm to me in 1980 and Restoration finished in 1983. All original parts has been fixed except the backlight. This is a 100% copy of the original one was missing. Tachometer is a compromise to get German street permit as it got.
It wins some competitons in the 80ths and was stored in my garage until now for about 25 years. Unfortunately during this time the paint of fuel tank became destroyed for some reason I don"t know. It needs to be repainted. Everything else is close to concurs condition and ready to run. Put a battery in, fuel, step on kickstarter and it will run. You can watch the open valves working :-).
There are some spare parts with the bike, a motorcase with matching number (frame/motor) for example and some little stuff.
I will assist in shipping. Buyers are responsible for pickup and shipping itself.
